About the therapist
Pychodynamic Counsellor and Teacher
Kay has worked in Education for over two decades and her counselling work enhances her educational practice and vice versa. She has vast experience working with young people and adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement and grief, trauma, difficulties with school, neurodivergence, low mood and self esteem.
At Solidarity Counselling, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and professional counselling services. Therapists are registered with the BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.

Individual Counselling
Our individual counselling services are designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. Psychodynamic work explores some of the routes of the feelings a person may be experiencing. Through counselling you can explore how the impact of early experiences can influence life even now. You can process some of the more challenging events in your life and begin to heal. Psychodynamic counselling is more than sharing your story, having someone listen, empathise and advise. It is a relational therapy and encompasses more than the words which pass between counsellor and client, by working through your feelings and acknowledging many different aspects of yourself.
Child & Adolescent Counselling
Our child and adolescent counselling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioural issues, and more.
